HEATERS FOR OTHER SYSTEMS
LAPTOP COMPUTER HEATER
This heater will prevent dew from forming on your laptop and frying your motherboard. It will also keep hard drive access times up in cold weather. The computer can be placed on top of the heater or the heater can be placed on top of the key pad and the screen closed down partly on top of it for those times when you are away from the computer and it is not in use. It can also be attached to the back of the screen to keep the screen operating at optimum speed.
 
We recommend placing the heater inside a box placed on it's side and then placing the computer on top of the heater. This will create an enclosed environment that will create a pocket of air that is warmer than the ambient temperature. This will protect both the screen and and the motherboard from dew forming on them and will also keep CPU speeds up in cold weather.

These also make excellent seat warmers!

 
EYEPIECE BOX HEATER
This heater can be placed into an eyepiece or accessory box, observing stool seat or any other place where you would like things kept warm and dry. It can be installed permanently or dropped into place as you please. The heater gives off plenty of warmth. It's dimensions are 2.750" (7 cm) x 7" (17.5 cm). the wire leads are 4' long and are left bare. It is a 12 volt, 10 watt heater.
 
LX 200 CONTROL PADDLE HEATER
This heater will keep the LX 200 control paddle dew free and most importantly, keep the screen refresh times up in cold weather. These panels are notoriously sluggish in cold weather. The heater is applied to the back of the controller and is held in place with the supplied elastic bands.
